ProStart Students Participate in 2008 Citymeals-on-Wheels Fundraiser

 Twelve local students donned their culinary whites and sharpened their knives as they headed to New York City to participate in the “Chefs Gone Wild!” fundraiser to benefit Citymeals-on Wheels at Rockefeller Center on Monday, June 16, 2008. 

This event is one of New York City’s most glamorous evenings as famous Chefs from all over the country participate by preparing innovative dishes. This year's theme was "Creme de la Creme" and saluted the legends of French cuisine. Participating students included: Grace Long, Chelsea Geyer and Ashley Taylor from Putnam Northern Westchester, Rebecca Rios, Alexander Alcarraz and Ronghang Chen from Food & Finance HS, Savannah Spillane, Joe Casabona and Aimee Stout from Orange Ulster and Anrika Colbourne, Justin Donegan and Dante Leigh-Nedbor from Ulster Co. BOCES.
